C.B.T. - Compulsory Basic Training
Once you have completed your C.B.T. - If you are aged 16 you can ride up to a 50cc bike. If you are aged 17 and above you will be able to ride a 125cc bike. The C.B.T. Certificate is valid for 2 years.
Restricted Licence (Aged 17 and Above)
After passing the test on a 125cc bike, you will be entitled to ride a 33bhp bike for 2 years, then ride any size bike after the 2 years OR you can purchase any size bike but ensure that you get the bike restricted to the 33bhp for the 2 year restriction.
Direct Access Course (Aged 21 and Over)
After passing the test on a 500cc bike you will be entitled to ride any size bike.
