Compulsory Basic Training
All new riders must take a CBT before riding on the road. A CBT is usually gained with one day's training. Please go to www.1stgearmtc.co.uk for videos on our training.
We conduct LADIES ONLY CBT DAY'S, please call for dates.
Once you have successfully completed a C.B.T you can ride on the road with L-Plates up to a 125cc if you are 17 and over with category A on your licence, 50cc if you are 16 - Category P on your licence. Your C.B.T. will last for 2 years. You can re-take your C.B.T. after the 2 years or take your test before the expiry of your C.B.T..
